Four years after the kidnap of Chibok girls by Boko Haram insurgents, over 110 schoolgirls from Girls Technical College, Dapchi were also kidnapped in a similar manner as Chibok school girls on February 28, 2018.
Unlike the Chibok girls, the Dapchi Girls were released by the deadly Boko Haram sect less than 30 days after their abduction.
The release of the girls came as a good news for Nigerians even though it doesn’t signify the end to the issue of insurgency in the country.
The events surrounding the Kidnap and release of Dapchi girls have raised suspicion from concerned Nigerians.
Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose has described the abduction of the Dapchi girls as a plot by Federal Government to get Nigerians sympathy towards 2019 election.
According to Gov. Fayose:-
Why is it that neither the army nor the police was on ground when Boko Haram entered Dapchi community to kidnap the girls and later return them? He queried.
Reports had it that the out of 110 Girls abducted, 104 were returned in 9 vans, the insurgents marched into the Dapchi gently to hand over the girls to their parents and the whole community waved goodbye to them as they leave.
Going by Governor Fayose’s Analysis and the fact that the real action by the Federal Government to secure the release of the girls is still unclear,
Do you think the whole Kidnap and release story of Dapchi girls is real or a scripted Non-Nollywood movie produced and directed by the Federal Government?
